All children who wish to play football for West Footscray will be required to complete an online registration with the WRFL.  To complete this registration please click this link. Please ensure that you fill out the registration form in full. No child is permitted to play without completing the WRFL registration. The league registration has a cost of $10.

There is also a club registration fee for each player which is paid to cover the costs of fielding junior teams. The club has introduced sibling discounts this season to reduce the impact of registration  costs on families. These costs are as follows.

1st  Child registered $180

2nd Child registered $150

3rd Child registered $130

All Aboard Fund Levy $10 (optional payment)

These payments can be made when registering online.


The local Maribyrnong Council offer a subsidy of 75% for registration to holders of healthcare and pension cards. This subsidy is also available for female participants registering at the club for the first time. To check your eligibility and apply, please click this link.


The club also offers financial assistance through its All Aboard Fund. This scheme is funded by Junior fundraising and payment of the optional levy at registration. The WRFL requires all junior participants to wear their clubs shorts and socks. These will be available at the club in the coming weeks. Players participating in Under 11 competitions and above are required to wear home and away shorts. The cost of these items is as follows.

Shorts $35 per pair

Socks  $15 per pair

The club provides the jumpers that participants wear on match days.

It should also be noted that mouthguards are mandatory and that children will not be permitted to play without one.
